Cedar Waxwing

The cedar waxwing is one of those intricate beauties.  Once I went into my backyard to find an entire flock of cedar waxwings sitting in my magnolia tree completely silent.  It was eerie and awesome at the same time. These yellow tipped feathers come from the tail. I also have the orange-tipped feather from the wing.  They love berries so are often found in trees and shrubs in the woods or suburbs feasting away.
